Fine lines and wrinkles appear as we age, and there are a number of factors influencing their development including: genetics, excess sun exposure, lifestyle factors such as alcohol, smoking, diet and pollution, to name a few. 

To help to soften these fine lines and wrinkles there are differing treatments on offer, one of those options is to use muscle relaxing injections to reduce the lines caused by facial movement through expression. This is achieved using injections of Botulinum Toxin A (AKA Botox) into the muscles.

Will it hurt?

We use very fine needles therefore the treatment should not be painful and is normally tolerated well.

How long will it last?

The effect will start to become apparent after approximately 2-3 days, with the full effects experienced at 2-4 weeks. The duration of effect differs between individuals with an average of 3-4 months.
