Soft Tissue Fillers
Soft Tissue Fillers
As we age we lose volume, not only in the fat pads in our face but also in the facial bones. Soft tissue fillers can be used to restore the volume lost, which can help to smooth out wrinkles and folds, resulting in a refreshed, rejuvenated you.
Soft tissue fillers are soft, temporary, biodegradable gel made from Hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar molecule found in all skin and soft tissues throughout the body. It creates hydration, volume and supports collagen and elastin by attracting water and binding it in the skin creating a plumper more hydrated and smoother surface. We inject directly into the skin at varying depths depending upon the area of concern, which gives an instant result.
The hyaluronic acid we use at R J Rose Aesthetics is manufactured in a laboratory to produce a clear sterile gel. We only use the highest quality FDA approved products at our clinic.
Will it hurt?
The procedure may be uncomfortable and certain areas are more sensitive such as the lips, in this instance a topical numbing cream will be applied. The soft tissue fillers we use contain a local anaesthetic to provide pain relief during the treatment.
